20741 Jeanmichelreess (provisional designation: 1999 XA230) is an outer main-belt minor planet. It was discovered through the Lowell Observatory Near-Earth-Object Search at the Anderson Mesa Station in Coconino County, Arizona, on December 7, 1999. It is named after Jean-Michel Reess, an engineer at the Paris Observatory. Reess was an avid astronomer.
